| This print entitled "Protecting Our Heritage"
has been produced as the official print commemorating the 100th anniversary of the West
Virginia Conservation Officer. The persons who have been honored to wear the brown
uniform of the West Virginia Conservation Officer can easily identify with the serenity of
the woods and the sense of pride of "Protecting Our Heritage".

This print is dedicated to Conservation Officer Wesley C. Frame, Jr., May
7, 1949 to November 10, 1978 and Game and Fish Protector Fredrick W. Hobart, October 17,
1899 to December 21, 1940, both of whom were killed in the line of duty.
Artist - Steve Jackson
Steve, a native West Virginian, was commissioned by the Law Enforcement
Section of the Division of Natural Resources to do their print, "Protecting Our
Heritage".
